Ajit is a simple village boy, the son of a small-town sweet shop owner, who is deeply in love with Anita. After being publicly humiliated and heartbroken when Anita marries someone else, Ajit hits rock bottom and becomes unable to move on. He slowly distances himself from life while his family struggles to bring him back to normal.
