Ab Dilli Dur Nahin is inspired from the real life story of IAS officer Govind Jaiswal from Delhi.
The film, directed by Kamal Chandra, tells the story of the young man Abhay Shukla (Imran Zahid) from Bihar. He comes from a middle-class family and is one of the many youngsters wanting to serve the country by becoming an IAS officer. He goes to Delhi to fulfill his dreams by appearing for UPSC, one of the toughest exams to crack in order to become an IAS officer. Abhay’s life takes a pleasant turn when he meets a beautiful girl (Shruti Sodhi) and the two fall in love. Unfortunately for him, he doesn’t pass the UPSC exam in first go and, along with that, faces a lot of other obstacles as well. There comes a point when he gives up on his dreams. In these moments, his girlfriend provides him with unflinching support. Will Abhay fulfill his dream?
